Little Collins was born on a summers day in Melbourne sitting at a famous bar along the Yarra River sipping on a local small production wine. “Why do people buy mass produced wine when you can drink this stuff at a similar price?” was the conversation starter and “We can do better” was the answer! 

 

As Australian born and local wine enthusiasts, we believe Australian wine has been mis-represented on a global scale for a long time.

The large producers with the means and production volumes have long dominated and created the impression that Australian wine is strong / punchy / alcoholic and cheap with few exceptions. Those who have travelled through the extensive wine regions in the country will know better… 

 

Australia, and in particular our favourite regions based in South Eastern Australia produce some stunning wines! In fact living over in Europe and the US for the last 15 years has given us the opportunity to try wines produced all over the world on a regular basis. Very few offer the quality at the price points that Australian wine does. 

 

In our time we have converted many French, Italian and US wine lovers over to the dark side!

 

With our move to the USA in mid 2022, we decided to bring some of the joy we find in our cult Australian wines over to the US market.

 

We want to show what Australian wines are really like, and to help share these winemakers, their stories, and treasures with the community here… and for more selfish reasons we wanted

the accessibility to our favourite wines at home to share together with friends!
